Nintendo says they plan to begin offering mobile games (through its partnership with DeNA) & a new "platform" in 2016 called Nintendo NX. Much more to come in this area.
The Wii U has not kept market share & Nintendo agrees more has to be done even with the 3DS successes, but big news can't be expected in 2015.
They just announced a new game (from previous franchise) called Star Fox Zero for the Wii U system.
Their latest 2015 games announced for this year include:
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer,
Fire Emblem Fates,
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (3DS game),
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash (Wii U game),
Metroid Prime: Federation Force,
Skylanders (staying Bowser & Donkey Kong - via Activision),
Star Fox Zero (Wii U),
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (3DS game),
Xenosaga Chronicles X,
Yoshi's Wooly World,
and more...
...like Super Mario Maker, a create-your-own Mario Wii U game, which brings the company's in-house Mario-making software to consumers.
